Despite the reporter’s initial reluctance to meet Johnny, he was happy that he won the case.

Johnny had won the defamation trial against Amber, who had sued her for defaming him in an op-ed she wrote in 2018 claiming she was a victim of domestic abuse. She never mentioned Johnny’s name but it was clear that she was talking about him. After the op-ed, Johnny lost everything, including his job, fans, and iconic role as Jack Sparrow and Captain of the Caribbean. Fortunately, Amber came to court with evidence proving that Amber had written the op-ed with intentions of malice.

Johnny showed the court proof that Amber was lying by bringing in audio recordings that showed him as a scaredy cat who always ran away during fights between them. She also claimed that he would beat her up and push her against walls. Other audios proved that Amber lied when she said she was too afraid of what her husband would do to her and that she got a restraining order against him. Another recording was played by Camille Vasquez, Johnny’s lawyer, where Amber pleaded with Johnny to kiss and hug her after filing a restraining order against him.

Another recording was played by Camille Vasquez, Johnny’s lawyer, where Amber told Johnny that sometimes he made her so angry that she got crazy and that it was all his fault that she got crazy. This evidence proved that Amber never got assaulted by anyone and that she did all of this in malice. She was the one who kept leaking information that made Johnny look like a monster.

The court reporter in their trial seemed to have a liking for Johnny and seemed happy that he won. This shows how positive and generous Johnny is influencing the people around him positively. It seems that everyone was against Amber in this trial, but she doesn’t seem to have received the memo because instead of apologizing, she continues to act like the victim.
