DC Films President Walter Hamada revealed during his deposition in the Johnny Depp defamation trial that he does not consider Amber Heard as a movie star. This statement has been taken action by Warner Brothers. Hamada revealed that he had concerns about Amber’s lack of chemistry with Jason Momoa, the lead of the Aquaman sequel, and that the studio had to edit the movie to get a little bit of chemistry together.
Arthur Curry and Amber’s Meera Hamada revealed that there were conversations about recasting the role for the sequel, but it took a lot of effort to get there. It was previously reported that Momoa the sequel star and James Wan the film’s director were committed to working with Amber in adamant that the Kirby star remains in the film. However, it now seems that the decision makers have had the last say on the matter, marking the end of the Amber era under the stewardship of Warner Brothers.
