Amber Heard is currently under investigation for allegations of perjury made by her ex-husband Johnny Depp about the illegal importation of their dogs, Pupil and Boo. The department of agriculture, water, and environment is investigating the matter, as evidence presented in the London court case suggests false statements were provided in the 2016 Australian court case. Amber’s past is haunting her, as people continue to bring up her mistake.
Americord and her ex-husband Johnny Depp had to film an awkward video of them making a public apology to the people of Australia. They were trying to praise Australia’s biosecurity rules, which are free of many pests and diseases. Amber was issued with a one-month good behavior bond after admitting to falsifying customs documents and unlawfully bringing their dogs to Australia.
The Department of Agriculture, Water, and Environment is currently investigating allegations of perjury made by Amber about the illegal importation of their dogs in 2015. Amber’s apology video is being passed around again, even if it was made almost a decade ago, as she is still under investigation for perjury.
During the trip, Amber brought her Yorkshire Terrier puppies, Pupil and Boo, into Australia without the required permits and quarantine period. Mark noted the relevant question on her immigration form and visited her then-husband filming for Pirates of the Caribbean. In the UK trial, Johnny had a witness testify that Amber lied when she told the Queensland Court in April 2016 that everything was in place to import the dogs. Amber also threatened their staff to comply with her lies, as their jobs were on the line.
There is a perjury case because Amber’s staff told them it was okay to bring the dogs without any quarantine or paperwork, which he heavily denies. This embarrassment for Amber and Johnny continues to haunt her past.
